Meet Andy. Andrew. Uncle Bowdy. Bowdster. He sort of looks like a french porn star in this shot doesn’t he? Can’t you just see the movie plot?
The scene opens on a young, good looking chef, his long blade lying ready at his side, his penchant for sticky fingers seeing him gently massage fresh cream into a frothy peak.
Perhaps I could begin a side career writing for Mills and Boon.
Andrew is actually Gregory’s 2IC and we are both thrilled and humbled he’s joining the HY team. Because not only does Andrew have a keen eye for footwear (he’s the proud owner of over 120 pairs of sneakers) he also has a keen eye for desserts.
This is how I know he and Gregory will be a force to be reckoned with. Plate presentation is a big deal to my husband. Honestly, sometimes it’s like living with Picasso. Minus the mistresses…I hope.

I call it mine; I think Andrew channelled the inner-Floridian in him for this one. And my grandma. She made the best lemon meringue pie in the western plains; I don’t know quite what this is, but I do know that with the greenhouse growing the produce and the dehydrator and whatever other toys the boys have in that kitchen, this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship.
